On behalf of the Board of Directors of Palestine Save the Children Foundation and Gaza Community, I would like to acknowledge and appreciate the great efforts provided by all partner organizations to support and help the Palestinian Community.
Palestine Save the Children Foundation is a Palestinian and national organization working in Gaza Strip since 1999, seeks to promote development which is sustainable, integrated and responsive to community needs. As such PSCF promotes development/relief programs and activities in the sectors of rehabilitation for people with special needs, women empowerment and advocacy, non-formal and community education, water resource development, sanitation, public health, and humanitarian assistance.
Throughout the years, we have built diverse partnerships and received donations from variant national and international organizations including (USAID, Care International, European Union, ECHO, World Bank, Ford Foundation, Medical Aid for Palestinian- MAP UK, Welfare Association, OPEC International, Norwegian peoples Aid and National Development Center) aiming to reach a boarder segment of our community and to meet the needs of greater numbers of children, youth and women living in the most vulnerable areas in Gaza Strip.
At the national level, PSCF is considered one of the active organizations that responds directly to the needs of the community. It has come a long way, but much more remains to be done due to the continual Israeli attacks and the prolonged strict closure imposed on the Strip.
I would like to express my gratitude and acknowledgement to all the partner organizations and PSCF staff for their unique efforts and major role in making our program successful. Most important, I would like to extend my thanks to all children of Palestine and those who benefited from our programs for their cooperation and participation.
Dr. Ali Mansour
PSCF Chairman
